The Green Street Program is administered by the Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF), and this Web platform is in partnership with TakingITGlobal. As such, the CTF adheres to and supports the Privacy Policy of TakingITGlobal.

This Web platform proposes to be a central site where teachers and students can dialogue to exchange ideas and collaborate on projects of mutual interest. This non-partisan platform will be monitored on a regular basis to ensure that it remains free of offensive or abusive language, personal attacks, and personal campaigns. Therefore, Green Street and its designees have the right in their sole discretion to refuse or move any content that is not conducive to the positive collaboration and engagement the Green Street program seeks to encourage.

Green Street is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. Green Street would therefore like to inform you of the type of personal information that will be collected, the reasons why we need this information about you, and how we will be using it. Please be advised that no personal information will be collected on the Green Street Web site without your prior consent.

What kind of information is Green Street collecting about you?
In certain circumstances (i.e. when you apply to a Green Street program or give us your feedback), Green Street may ask you to provide your name, address, e-mail address and, if you agree, certain other types of information.
How will Green Street be using the information I provide?
The information collected by Green Street will allow us to personalize our working relationship with you and, if you agree, to occasionally send you personalized information about the Web site and the programs. Green Street would like to emphasize that the environmental organization that provided the program you have chosen will have access to your information. Furthermore, Green Street does not market its user lists. At any time, you may also request that Green Street stop using personal information about you by simply e-mailing us at info(at)green-street.ca.
